Early registration is now open and will close on Wednesday March 20th 2024. Presenters must also register by this date.

The standard registration window will remain open until Tuesday 30th April 2024. Late registration fees will apply from the 1st May 2024.

The registration fee includes:

  • Admission to all congress sessions
  • The opening reception
  • The opening ceremony
  • Coffee breaks (5 days, morning and afternoon)
  • Lunch (5 days)
  • The closing ceremony
  • The congress app including digital programme of the congress
  • Attendance at social events other than congress dinner
  • The congress dinner ticket price will be an additional €120 per person

Early registration will open in December 2023 and close on Friday March 8th 2024. The standard registration window will remain open until Friday April 26th 2024. Late registration fees will apply after this date.

Environmental Levy:

*IGC Dublin 2024 has included an optional environmental levy for the Dublin Congress through the registration process. All donations will be used for carbon insetting initiatives (i.e. initiatives involving the implementation of nature-based solutions) within the Universities that have been involved in the local organisation of the International Geographical Congress on the island of Ireland. All projects supported will be listed on the IGC website after the congress. During the registration process, you will see a check box option that will allow you to make a donation of 10 Euro. This contribution is optional and distinct from the registration fee and will appear as such on your registration receipt.

Visa Requirements

Registration confirmation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to participants who have completed the registration process and paid in full. Delegates have the opportunity to request a letter on the online registration form as part of the registration process. Please note Ireland is not in the Schengen zone, further information regarding visa requirements can be found here.
